Description

Bion Environmental Technologies, Inc. developed and continues to develop technology and business models that provide environmental solutions to a source of pollution in the United States agriculture, large scale livestock facilities known as Confined Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO's). The Company's technologies (and applications related thereto) produce reductions of nutrient releases (primarily nitrogen and phosphorus) to both water and air (including ammonia, which is subsequently re-deposited to the ground) from livestock waste streams based upon its operations and research to date (and third party peer review thereof). The Company is focused on using applications of its waste management technology to pursue three business opportunities: retrofit and environmental remediation of existing CAFOs; development of Integrated Projects, and licensing and/or joint venturing of its technology (primarily) outside North America.
